Check out this new opportunity!Tooling EngineerMarietta, GA $3,320/WeeklyThe Senior Tooling Engineer is responsible for leading the design, development, optimization, and lifecycle management of manufacturing tooling in a high-complexity aerospace environment. This role provides technical leadership across tooling design, digitization, validation, and continuous improvement initiatives while collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external suppliers.Key Responsibilities:Lead the design, development, optimization, and lifecycle management of manufacturing toolingDesign and develop complex tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures for aircraft applicationsReview and approve tooling designs, drawings, and engineering change documentationLead root-cause analysis and corrective actions for recurring tooling and production issuesDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance tool life, reliability, and manufacturing efficiencyCollaborate with manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and product engineering teamsCoordinate with tooling suppliers to support tools designed and implementedOversee tooling trials, validation, and production readiness activitiesEnsure compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, and customer requirementsAdditional Responsibilities:Support the digitization of complex tools, molds, jigs, and fixturesReview and verify digitized tooling data for accuracy against scanned toolsProvide technical guidance to teams performing digitization activitiesProvide full onsite support at the Lockheed Martin Marietta, GA facilityAbility to walk extended distances on the shop floor as requiredAbility to climb multiple flights of stairsPrior Lockheed Martin tooling experience preferred, but not requiredQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent experience15+ years of aircraft or aerospace tooling experienceAdvanced knowledge of tooling design, materials, and manufacturing processesStrong proficiency in CATIA V5 and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)Demonstrated leadership in problem-solving, root-cause analysis, and process optimizationProven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneouslyMoseley Technical Services, Inc. is an AA/EEO/Veterans/Disabled Employer.Your RecruiterWhat to ExpectApplicants selected for employment will be required to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation, which may include education, criminal, and work history verifications.Accepted applicants will be eligible for benefits, including medical and supplemental insurance, and a 401(k) plan.
