Senior Full Stack Deployed Engineer

The Company We’re partnering with an AI holding company backed by Lightspeed Venture Partners, building purpose-built AI platform software to transform the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry—a complex sector that has seen very little automation to date. The team is intentionally small and talent-dense, and this hire will embed directly inside acquired engineering firms to build tools and establish software adoption from the ground up.The Role This is much more than joining an established engineering team. You’ll have significant agency over the full deployment lifecycle, product decisions, and developer relationships supporting a rapidly scaling platform.You’ll be responsible for:Embedding on-site at acquired firms to identify high-leverage workflows and automate themOwning the full deployment lifecycle: discovery, build, ship, debug in production, and live iterationExercising strong product judgment to translate user pain into clear build decisions without waiting for specsOwning user relationships end-to-end, running working sessions, and driving scope growth independentlyFeeding on-site lessons back into the platform so wins at one firm scale across all acquisitionsWorking directly with leadership on both immediate engineering needs and long-term platform strategyWhat We’re Looking For5-10 years of full-stack product, customer-facing, or forward-deployed engineering experienceProven track record of owning product decisions and shipping software end-to-end without hand-holdingExperience with full-stack and AI development (Next.js, Python, Kotlin, AWS, LLMs, RAG, Agent Frameworks)Exceptional communication poise and fluency to earn trust with non-technical users on their turfHigh-agency, founder-minded mindset comfortable in early-stage, fast-moving environmentsRecognizable early-stage startup experience (Seed–Series C) or top technical background is preferredWillingness to travel Monday–Thursday, 2–3 weeks per month during the first 100 days post-acquisitionWhat’s in It for You?Work directly with the co-founders as a key technical hire in a small, elite teamOwn outcomes end-to-end and build purpose-built tools from the ground up rather than maintain legacy specsSignificant influence over product direction, engineering standards, and company cultureJoin a lean engineering team where individual impact is highly visible$200,000–$300,000 base salaryFounding equity (0.1%–0.75% with anti-dilution protection at platform acquisition)Full visa sponsorship available (open to OPT, H-1B transfers, and new H-1B/TN sponsorships)
