Kelda Roys for Governor: Campaign manager

Campaign ManagerThe Campaign Manager will serve as the senior strategic leader and operational executive responsible for all aspects of Kelda Roys' gubernatorial campaign. This position requires an experienced political campaign professional who can build and execute a comprehensive campaign strategy capable of winning both a competitive Democratic primary and top-tier general election in August and November 2026. This is a full-time, at will position located in Madison, Wisconsin. Salary is competitive and commensurate with experience.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement comprehensive campaign strategy, messaging, and operations planOversee all campaign departments including field, communications, digital, finance, and political operationsBuild and manage campaign staff, consulting team, volunteers, and key stakeholder relationshipsEnsure campaign compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and reporting requirementsManage campaign cash flow and budget, resource planning, and operational efficiencyServe as primary liaison between candidate and campaign operationsDevelop and execute voter contact programs, including field operations and GOTV effortsOversee polling, research, and data analysis to inform strategic decision-makingQualifications & SkillsTrack record of managing successful primary and general election campaigns, preferably at statewide levelUnderstanding of Wisconsin political landscape, Democratic coalition building, and electoral dynamicsExperience with campaign management tools (NGP-VAN, digital platforms, polling, etc.) & fundraisingProven ability to manage complex operations, multiple departments, and diverse stakeholdersStrong budget management experience and frugalityExcellent written and verbal communication skillsPersonal AttributesExceptional leadership, interpersonal, and team management capabilities, including high emotional intelligenceStrong organizational and project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously and delegate effectivelyAbility to work effectively under intense pressure and adapt to rapidly changing circumstancesStrategic thinking combined with hands-on problem-solving abilities and resourcefulnessUnwavering discretion in handling confidential campaign information
