General Labor/Forklift

Job DescriptionTake charge of the operational and logistical functions of our warehouse, with a focuson hands-on management of rental inventory, client-owned assets, logistics planning,and event-specific scheduling. This role blends leadership with active participation,requiring someone who can contribute directly to daily tasks and workflows whiledemonstrating a strong understanding of inventory and rental managementfundamentals.Key Responsibilities: Operate a sit-down Forklift + Reach Truck Forklift Load and pack boxes onto a box truck according to specified guidelines. Ensure that all items are properly secured and organized within the truck toprevent damage during transport. Lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Assist with loading and unloading trucks as necessary. Follow all safety procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Perform other general labor tasks as assigned.Requirements: 1-2 Years of sit-down and reach truck Forklift Experience Experience banding pallets is preferred. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly. Steel-toed boots, safety glasses, and gloves are required for the role. Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is a plus but not required. Strong physical stamina and the ability to stand for extended periods. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Must have reliable transportation to work. Availability to work 5 days a week with potential for overtime. Must be able to read and understand directions in English.Shift: 1 Month project with potential to extend Monday – Friday | 8AM-4:30PM Overtime opportunities available.Compensation: Pay rate $20/Hr.Location  Mundelein , ILInterested in the General Labor opportunity?
