Most of our management team and supervisors are certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA), promoting professional arboriculture practices.What We Offer:Weekly PayPaid Holidays and Paid Time OffMedical, Dental, Vision, and Disability BenefitsEmployer Paid Life Insurance401k + employer match up to 4%Boot allowance on qualifying purchases Job Responsibilities:Enforce all safety rules and actively participate in the company safety programDevelop and maintain a close relationship with the Safety DepartmentWork closely with safety personnel to develop new safety initiativesProactively address truck audits to eliminate ACRT audit and shutdownsEnsure all work is performed safely and that all JSA reports are completedClimb trees to cut limbsCut limbs from bucketsRig limbs after climbing a treeSafely use a chainsaw and a hydraulic saw in a tree and in a bucketPerform proper cuts on treesTie standard knots used in line clearingSafely work around energized power linesWork with bucket trucks and chippersDrive a medium-duty truckComplete job-related paperwork Position Requirements:One year of experience as a crew leader or foremanValid driver's licenseAbility to pass a background check and drug screenProven experience and excellence as a trimmer while employed by the companyExpertise in knots used in line clearingExpertise with chainsaws and hydraulic sawsExpertise in working around energized power linesAbility to perform proper cutsKnowledge of the function of bucket trucks and chippersAbility to communicate with customers and employeesWillingness to travel for extended periods, often on short notice (generally weather-driven)Ability to work 10-hour days and a minimum of 40 hours per week (storm-related jobs may require up to 16-hour days) Physical Requirements:Ability to lift 70 pounds to shoulder heightFlexibility, including the ability to squat and bendAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsAbility to pull body weight up 20 feet and climb a treeAbility to withstand and perform work at heightsAbility to work in all weather conditions and withstand extreme temperaturesMust not exceed weight limitations for hydraulic buckets
