Amy's is committed to cooking authentic great tasting food with high quality, meticulously sourced organic ingredients and making them convenient for consumers.Pay: $18-23/hr.Location: 109 Kentucky St, Petaluma, CA 94952Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesProject Details:We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Intern to join our accounting team this summer. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience in accounting and finance processes, with opportunities to collaborate across various functions. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are essential for success in this position.Assisting with data entry, performing reconciliations, and preparing reports.Providing support for team members during month-end close activities.Project mentorship with the Director of Corporate Controller.Other responsibilities as assigned.Qualifications and SkillsTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.EducationAttending four-year college or university to attain an Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration Bachelor's degree; or already awarded Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university.Required SkillsBasic understanding of general accounting principles.Excellent organizational, communication, interpersonal, and project leadership skills.Team player that will thrive in an entrepreneurial environment with a sense of urgency.Self-starter with an analytical mindset.Strong attention to detail and time management.Experience with Excel or Smartsheet's.SkillsLanguage SkillsAbility to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.Ability to make effective presentations on complex topics to plant management and other stakeholders.Mathematical SkillsAbility to apply advanced mathematical concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, and permutations.Reasoning AbilityAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variablesPhysical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
