Loan Trading Operations Analyst – Middle Office

The position is highly operational, with a strong focus on trade processing, reconciliation, and coordination with internal teams and external providers.Core ResponsibilitiesTrade Execution & BookingManage the end-to-end lifecycle of loan trades (trade date to settlement)Create and process trades in ClearParBook transactions in Loan IQ (deals, facilities, positions)Settlement & Cash ManagementCoordinate settlement with Back Office and counterpartiesValidate and release paymentsEnsure all trade-related cash flows are accurate and timelyReconciliation & MonitoringTrack unsettled trades and follow up until completionPerform daily reconciliations (cash, positions, trades)Investigate and resolve discrepanciesOutsourcing OversightSupervise external provider (Alter Domus)Validate data accuracy and ensure tasks are properly executedEnsure compliance with agreed processes and SLAsIssue ManagementIdentify and escalate trade breaks or operational issuesWork with stakeholders to resolve issues before settlementReporting & Process ImprovementProduce reports on trade status and operational metricsContribute to process improvements and operational efficiencyProfileExperience3+ years in Loan Trading Operations / Middle Office / SettlementsSkillsStrong knowledge of loan trading lifecycle and settlement processesHands-on experience with ClearPar and Loan IQSolid Excel skills (reconciliation, tracking)Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindsetAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesEducationDegree in Finance or related field (or equivalent experience)
