Plant Manager

My client, a well-established and growing food manufacturing company, is seeking a Plant Manager.This role is 5 days onsite just north of Boston, $40-45/hr + Paid OT (typical schedule is 50 hrs/wk)Bilingual English/Spanish RequiredPosition Highlights:Management of the Productivity of the DepartmentDevelop and implement the plant's short- and long-term operational strategy aligned with company growth objectives.Design, standardize, and continuously improve plant-wide production systems (grinding, mixing, cutting, marinating, stuffing, linking, packaging)Food Safety & Regulatory StrategyOwn the plant's food safety strategy and regulatory compliance framework.Ensure full compliance with: USDA-FSIS, HACCP, SQF, GMPsLeadership & Organizational developmentLead and develop Production Managers as business leaders, not task supervisors.Establish clear accountability structures across all production departments.Administrative & Reporting DutiesOwn plant-wide productivity and efficiency performance, ensuring optimal conversion of labor, materials, and equipment into finished goods.Continuous Improvement & Cross – Functional AlignmentLead Lean/continuous improvement initiatives across departments.Requirements:7–10+ years of progressive leadership in food manufacturing.Minimum 3–5 years managing managers in a production environment.Strong knowledge of USDA, HACCP, SQF systems.Experience scaling operations or improving plant performance.Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.Strong analytical and reporting skills.Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field.Benefits:401(k)Dental insuranceHealth insurancePaid time off
