Predict performance with simulation and verify with real-world data.Interface with multi-disciplinary product development team in support of design, integration and test (including radar system, microwave, electrical, mechanical and software design engineers).Develop antenna concepts, identify the best approach, optimize the design using simulation tools (HFSS for example), fabricate the hardware through outsourcing, test antennas for S parameters and patterns.Prepare design documentation, create test plans and test reports. Present design concepts, antenna performance, tradeoff studies to team members, management and customers.Design, test and evaluation of antennas & RF systems for automotive radar systems.YOUR BACKGROUNDKey skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:Master's degree with 3+ years of experience or Ph.D. degree in engineering, mathematics, or other technical field.Computer based simulation or analysisHFSS, CST (or equivalent) proficiencyGraduate-level coursework and/or hand-on project experience in antennasStrong documentation skillsWHY JOIN US?You can grow at Aptiv.
