Overview We are seeking a passionate and creative freelance wedding and sympathy florists to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in floral design and customer service, with the ability to create beautiful arrangements that meet our customers' needs. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a knack for retail sales. As a Florist, you will play a key role in enhancing our customers' experiences through your artistic flair and expertise in floral products. Responsibilities Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions, including weddings, events, and everyday purchases. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers with their selections and offering expert advice on floral care. Manage inventory by stocking flowers and supplies, ensuring that all products are fresh and well-displayed. Operate the cash register and POS system efficiently to process transactions accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to ensure a pleasant shopping environment for customers. Collaborate with team members to fulfill e-commerce orders and manage online sales effectively. Communicate with suppliers to order flowers and materials as needed, ensuring timely delivery of products. Stay updated on floral trends and techniques to continually enhance skills and offerings. Qualifications Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred. Strong knowledge of floral design principles and techniques is essential. Familiarity with POS systems and cash register operations is beneficial. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members alike. Knowledge of lawn care principles can be an added advantage but is not required.
