Belstra is in search of a full-time bus driver, light maintenance & pig care at our Sow Units. Belstra Group Farms is committed to producing the highest quality of pigs. This individual is responsible for safely driving a bus filled with pigs from site to site. This job starts at 6 am each day averaging 50 hours per week, including weekends. The individual member must work in compliance with all the company policies, local, state, and federal policies, laws, and regulations.Job Duties and Responsibilities (Included but not limited to):Driving a remodeled school bus filled with pigs safely from driveway to barnGeneral welding and electrical workRoutine equipment/facility maintenanceUse common hand and power toolsSome pig handlingKeep the bus cleanFollow all animal handling guidelines & biosecurity requirementsSkills and Requirements (Included but not limited to):Able to drive safely on the road in all weather conditionsPatience and attention to detailWithstand exposure to seasonal weather conditionsBasic knowledge of farm maintenancePhysical Demands:Stand, walk, or be on feet for long periods of timeFrequently bend, reach, squat, kneelFrequently use one or both hands/arms to grasp or pull.Frequently lift objects weighing 50+ poundsEducation and Experience:High school diploma or G.E.DValid driver's licenseBilingual is a plus, English is requiredPrevious pig production experience is plus, but not required
