Beaverbrook STEP Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse with experience working with the ID/DD population served by the Department of Developmental Services and other state entities. Reporting to the Director of Health Services, the Registered Nurse is a trained clinician responsible for providing assessment and treatment to our residential and day service population. Additionally, in concert with the Director of Health Services, the Registered Nurse will review treatment protocols and provide specific staff trainings as needed. She or he will review on an ongoing basis services being offered and develop new programs as needs emerge. Other responsibilities of the Registered Nurse may include; health care coordination, MAP consultation, regulatory oversight and quality improvement activities. This position has an above industry average salary range and is commensurate on experience and qualifications.
Qualifications:
R.N., or higher
Strong analytical and data collection skills
Working knowledge of DDS regulations with prior residential/day service experience preferred
Ability to lead and communicate effectively across complex milieus
Experience with Aging in Place concepts and DD/ID Alzheimer’s population
