IntroductionMWRD's Internship Program offers paid internship positions. The prospective intern will assist with the training and employee engagement activities.Duties will include but are not limited to:Assisting with Cornerstone On Demand, Learning Management System (LMS), functions such as tracking employee course completion.Creating online courses utilizing the Articulate platform.Assisting with the onboarding of new interns.Researching professional development activities, MWRD Internship Program, and other internship outreach/recruitment efforts.The intern may be responsible for: Scheduling and reserving training rooms and other logistics.Contacting attendees about upcoming trainings.Preparing training materials, agenda, handouts, etc.Tracking attendance of other interns and on occasions, attending trainings and meetings.Researching new training opportunities.Assisting with various projects within the HR Department, as needed.This internship will be entirely in-person. Remote work is not an option for the internship. Minimum Qualifications and Requirements:Excellent written and oral communication skills.Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.Ability to travel to other MWRD site locations as needed.Public speaking experience preferred but not required.Educational Requirements:Applicants must be a current undergraduate student seeking a degree in Human Resources, Organizational Behavior, Business, Management, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, and Instructional Design.
