Development Manager (Full-Stack)
Overview
As Development Manager, you will guide the full-stack engineering effort to shape scalable products for millions of travelers. You’ll own technical direction and contribute to strategic roadmaps in a fast-paced, ideas-led environment. You’ll coach engineers, drive cross-team initiatives, and ensure high-quality software delivery. This role sits in Priceline’s technology team, partnering with stakeholders to translate business goals into engineering plans. You’ll lead impactful projects that push the company’s product and technical ambitions forward.

ResponsibilitiesProvide constructive feedback and influence the performance and career development of high-performing engineersOwn the full stack of products and collaborate on cross-team initiativesCollaborate with stakeholders across departments to translate business and product strategies into strategic technical plansDecide with senior management on long-term technology roadmaps and execution of initiativesLead multiple projects including planning, prioritization, and task delegationEnforce accountability for software quality and best practices
Key requirementsBachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent practical experienceProven leadership in hiring, mentoring, coaching and performance management of engineering talentExpert knowledge of Java, Springboot, Python, JavaScript, API, Webservices, GKE, ML model development and best practicesKnowledge of React.js, TypeScript, Node.js, GraphQLStrong problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment with a focus on win-win outcomesAbility to drive development of high-scale systems and system integrationsDemonstrated alignment with Priceline values: Customer, Innovation, Team, Accountability and Trustleadership and mentoringcross-functional collaborationproblem solvingJavaSpringbootPython
