Please do not contact the recruiter directly.About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 10The Team: The S&P Global Fixed Income Pricing Team has responsibility for providing coverage, quality, and service across several pricing products.The team provides support for pricing millions of instruments a day (internally and externally) while proactively enhancing the methodology for pricing Fixed Income securities. S&P Global services are used by institutions to help them monitor risk, mark-to-market, and develop accurate forecasting models. Responsibilities and Impact: This opening provides an excellent opportunity for a candidate with Fixed Income markets (Corporate Bonds preferred) and data management interests and experience.We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented self-starter to help support the needs of our Americas client base and work with other team members around the globe. The position focuses on daily pricing responsibilities, as well as working with large dataset to enhance, identify, and implement pricing quality to further S&P Global Fixed Income Pricing Services. Leveraging data analysis tools while working with large datasets to draw meaningful insight and make recommendationsWill propose and help implement process improvements to realize enhanced quality and improve efficiency across S&P's pricing productsWork across the pricing products and the broader organization to effect change and identify opportunities to grow the business (special focus on sales and business development)Responsible for supporting and supervising the day-to-day running of S&P Global's Fixed Income Pricing businessWill be required to gain an in-depth product knowledge of S&P Global's pricing products and be able to speak effectively on them internally and externallyProvide exceptional client service by responding to client questions on pricing and methodology, and performing price challengesWill be required to build external relationships with clients in addition to receiving feedback, and acting on feedback from customers on our productsResponsible for daily evaluation in the form of assessing the quality of data provided and removing data sources that do not pass rigorous data quality checksAdjust daily pricing assumptions to reflect security performance in current market conditionsGenerate metrics and reports on the quality of pricing dataWhat's in it for you: Become a subject matter expert in a specific sub-asset class within the Corporate Bond Pricing universeClient facing experienceExposure and coordination with global team based in Singapore, India, and Europe, as well as the department's leadership teamOpportunity to work on large data sets and financial markets dataExposure to different products such as reference data and evaluated bondsCompensation/Benefits Information:(This section is only applicable to US candidates)S&P Globalstatesthat theanticipatedbase salary range for this position is $70,817 to $108,413. What We're Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience working with financial datasets at financial services firmBachelor Degree in Financial engineering, Finance, Economics, Mathematics or a related relevant field of studyUnderstanding of financial markets, knowledge of and exposure to Fixed Income products, preferability corporate bondsProven analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.Proficient in Excel, Python, APIStrong interpersonal skills to interact professionally with teams, senior members of the organization and clientsTeam player attitude is vital for the role.
