Environmental, Health & Safety Coordinator (EH&S) Location: Riverside Pay Range: $38.00-43.00/hr. Schedule: Onsite from 6am - 2:30pm Position Summary The EH&S Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and maintaining all documentation that supports the organization's safety program, ensuring all safety-related materials are accurate, up to date, and readily accessible. On a daily basis, this role manages the printing and distribution of safety documentation while maintaining an active presence on the manufacturing floor to support safety initiatives and reinforce compliance. The EH&S Coordinator works closely with supervisors, leadership, and Safety Ambassadors to coordinate safety trainings, track completion, and update materials to align with current policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities: Communication & DocumentationUpdate all safety communications on all forms, electronically and posted documentation.Create a daily, weekly, and monthly plan of action for safety tasks. Review with EHS Manager.Communicate, elaborate, and distribute safety huddle topics via email weekly.Ensure comments are filled out every day on the morning safety checklist.Print out and distribute safety huddle topics to ambassadors weekly, as needed.Work with Supervisors and Leads to ensure accuracy and timeliness of safety documentation.Update software daily for safety metrics.Update the safety cross/safety data daily in the safety-share PUBLIC folder.Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned by the EHS Manager or management team including processes and job expectations. Collaboration & CommunicationWork with the EHS Manager to ensure the success of the safety program.Maintain verbal and written communication with the Production Supervisor on items related to safety training.Partner with Supervisors to ensure all employees have proper training on tools and proper training to perform their job safely.Work with Supervisor and Leads to ensure everyone is part of the daily morning safety briefing and enforce the exercises with employees each morning.Coordinate with teams to update and adjust safety protocols and policies as changes occur.Collaborate with the Supervisor on the creation or revision of JHA training and keep records. Safety Compliance & MonitoringFamiliarize and understand all company safety rules and policies.Ensure all employees are working safe in accordance with company policies.Maintain a safe conduct at all times.Ensure all employees have their PPE on, including safety boots.Follow up with Supervisors on completion of the weekly checklist findings.Confirm with Supervisors on the completion of the New Employees Checklist as new employees start. Position Requirements:Experience: 3-5 years of direct experience in an EHS role, preferably in a manufacturing setting.Regulatory Knowledge: A solid understanding of Cal/OSHA regulations and general EPA standards. The candidate must be familiar with fundamental concepts like the Injury and Illness Prevention Program (IIPP).Core Skills: Proficiency in conducting safety inspections, participating in incident investigations, and maintaining EHS records. Must have strong verbal/written communication skills and be at an intermediate level with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Interpersonal Skills: The ability to work effectively with employees on the manufacturing floor, as well as supervisors and management, to communicate safety procedures and concerns.Willing and available to work overtime as needed, with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Work Environment:This is an onsite position based at our manufacturing facility in Riverside, CA and requires being 100% onsite.
