Position Summary
TRIDENT is seeking a Morning Security Officer to provide professional security and safety services at assigned locations in Cupertino, CA.
This early morning role is ideal for a motivated, detail-oriented professional who thrives in a structured environment and takes pride in setting the tone for a safe and productive day. Candidates who are punctual, physically active, and excel at establishing order during the morning hours will find this position especially rewarding.
Key Responsibilities:
Work with a team of Security Specialists to ensure customer and employee safety in retail environments
Patrol assigned areas on foot to maintain visibility and deter incidents
Observe, report, and respond to unusual or unsafe conditions
Investigate and document security-related incidents, accidents, and maintenance concerns
Respond to requests for assistance from supervisors or clients
Support client personnel during evacuations, hazardous situations, or emergencies
Assist with crowd control and coordinate with public safety officials when necessary
Verify proper identification for employees on client property
Conduct parking enforcement and assist with vehicle-related disputes or incidents
Greet and assist customers and employees professionally and proactively
Respond to medical emergencies and provide basic First Aid, CPR, or AED support (if certified)
Conduct exterior patrols to ensure doors, gates, and windows are secure
Participate in daily shift briefings and communicate site updates
Perform mobile patrols between retail locations as needed
Maintain company equipment in proper working condition
Complete accurate, detailed written reports as required
Perform other duties as assigned by TRIDENT management
Required Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous security experience preferred
Required Licenses and Certifications:
Valid California Driver's License
Valid BSIS Guard Card

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements:
May be required to drive a company vehicle between sites
Will work at multiple retail locations
Must be able to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, regardless of weather
Requires frequent walking, standing, and occasional sitting for long periods
Must be willing to work weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
Reporting Structure and Classification:
The Security Specialist is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting directly to the Field Supervisor.
