An internationally respected design practice is seeking a full-time Marketing Director based in Los Angeles, CA. The firm’s work spans a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple scales, geographies, and client types, and success in this role will depend on the ability to capture and communicate its entrepreneurial, design-driven culture.The ideal candidate is a highly organized, resourceful marketing professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and is comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams. This role requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability, and exceptional attention to detail. A deep understanding of the landscape architecture and planning industry, along with a natural curiosity and research-oriented mindset, will be critical to success in this position. Key Responsibilities:Prepare and complete all sections of RFPs and RFQs, including drafting key narratives, coordinating team composition, schedules, and fees, under the guidance of principals.Produce high-quality marketing collateral and manage all submittals, ensuring deadlines are met and materials are accurate and well-coordinated.Develop interview decks, project tear sheets, resumes, and professional bios.Support the maintenance and organization of the firmwide CRM system.Manage and deliver award submissions, taking ownership of written content with input from project teams.Coordinate and develop speaker panel submissions and presentations for major national conferences, including drafting and positioning content.Collaborate closely with the firmwide Marketing & Communications team, including support of social media initiatives.Assist principals with media relations, publications, professional appearances, and outreach initiatives.Build and maintain relationships with consultants and strategic partners to help assemble technically strong and competitively positioned teams. Skills and Experience:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree with relevant professional experience.Demonstrated experience supporting marketing efforts within an architecture, engineering, landscape architecture, or planning environment.Strong graphic design and desktop publishing skills.Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to write in a landscape architecture or planning context.Proven ability to manage multiple pursuits simultaneously in a deadline-driven environment.Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
