Quality Engineer (Korean Bilingual Required) \n\nTimpl has partnered with a global battery company that is currently looking for\na Quality Engineer.\n\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n * Primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality\n assurance systems. Analyze data to identify areas for improvement, conduct\n tests, and work with other departments to ensure products meet quality\n standards.\n * Quality Control Systems: Develop and implement quality control methodologies\n to ensure compliance with quality assurance standards and guidelines.\n * Testing and Inspection: Conduct tests and inspections of products and\n processes to identify defects and ensure they meet technical specifications.\n * Problem Solving: Identify issues in production processes and recommend\n solutions to improve product quality and performance.\n * Documentation: Create and maintain quality documentation, including\n inspection reports, quality metrics, and compliance records.\n * Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including\n production, engineering, and support, to ensure quality standards are met\n throughout the product lifecycle.\n * Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier quality\n performance, conducting audits and implementing corrective actions as\n necessary.\n\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\n * Education: A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Assurance, or a\n related field is typically required. Advanced degrees may be preferred for\n managerial roles.\n * Experience: Relevant work experience in quality engineering or quality\n systems is essential, 3-5 years in the field.\n * Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality management systems, statistical\n analysis, and testing methodologies is crucial.\n * Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are\n necessary to identify defects and ensure compliance with standards.\n * Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to\n effectively collaborate with various departments and stakeholders.\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n * Hands-on experience with battery pack or ESS system quality control\n * Understanding of BMS (Battery Management Systems), PCS (Power Conversion\n Systems) - Experience working with global customers or regulatory compliance\n for international markets\n * Certifications in ISO, Six Sigma (Green Belt/Black Belt), or equivalent\n In-Person Role
