CNC Trainee (2nd Shift)

Job Summary:OPEX Corporation is currently seeking a full-time CNC Operator Trainee to work on our 2nd shift (M-F, 2:00pm-10:15pm) in our manufacturing facility in Pennsauken,NJ.This individual will be in a two-year training program learning to assist with the setup and operation of manual and CNC lathes/milling machines.The ideal candidate would have an interest in learning a trade and basic knowledge of CNC machining. CNC Trainee Job Responsibilities:Assist with the setup and operation of manual and CNC lathes and milling machines.Will work with a mentor(s) to learn how to perform the following duties:Operate a variety of CNC machines in a cell structure Properly load material into a machineRead blueprints and use precision measuring toolsSetup and adjust jobs/fixturesReview blueprints, drawings, instructions to ensure accurate productionInspect parts using micrometer, gages and related inspection toolsOther duties as assignedQualifications/Skills:Commitment to learn a trade and advance your careerAbility to follow verbal and written instructionKnowledge of CNC machining is desired, but not requiredWillingness to learn and ability to take directionMust be able to work individually and as apart of a teamMust be dependable and reliableHourly Rate:$18-19/hr, depending on experience and qualificationsAbout UsCompany OverviewOPEX Corporation is more than a manufacturer of machines.
