About this opportunity The Localization team creates dubs, subs, captions, audio description, and more, enabling media content to resonate with audiences around the world in any language. The Localization Operations Partner is a media content localization expert charged with overseeing end-to-end localization production, ensuring that client needs are met on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This includes managing financial, information, and material flows within the Localization organization and with adjacent and supporting teams. This leader will interface with all Localization verticals, in addition to Business Development, Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Product, and others, to drive continuous improvement in the fast-moving world of media & entertainment content localization. What will your job look like? Drive department-wide initiatives and collaboration to ensure continuous improvement in managing financial, information, and material flows Identify, prioritize, and implement efficiencies or improvements in training, resource management, production, operations, project management, client services, and other areas Contribute to the development, integration, and implementation of tools for localization supply chain management and production Collaborate with Business Development, Sales, Marketing, and others to increase market penetration and introduce new services, fostering positive relationships with studio, platform, and other clients Provide creative, technical, and process oversight for the creation of localized elements Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks to schedules, budgets, quality, and relationships Collaborate with growing, global team to develop and improve processes, and to maintain alignment of capacity and capabilities with client needs Contribute to and participate in professional development, and foster a mutually supportive team environment All you need is... 10+ years related experience with demonstrated ability to develop talent, improve processes, and effect and manage change 3+ years experience in a senior management role leading a related department or service offering Expertise in multi-language media localization and access services, including subtitling, closed captioning, audio description, dubbing, voiceover, lektor, and more Strong relationships with stakeholders throughout the media localization ecosystem, including content owners and distributors, dubbing studios and other service providers, and freelance talent Knowledge of the creative, technical, and legal aspects of media localization, including best practices and emerging technologies and trends Competence with Excel and tools to model processes and workflows visually Experience managing budgets and ability to communicate operational requirements in financial/business terms Cultural sensitivity and ability to adapt communication style to work effectively with diverse stakeholders Eagerness to learn new skills and share knowledge with internal and external teams Effective problem-solving skills and ability to assess and adapt to changing priorities and strategies Why you will love this job: You will be part of a team of professionals dedicated to excellence in the film & television post-production industry.
