Registered Nurse - CVOR

Job Title: Registered Nurse - CVOR Job Location: Detroit, MI Job Duration: 2-3 Months (possibility of extension)Duties:Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.Required Education:Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.Preferred Education:Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).Required Certification & Licensure:Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.BLS Licensed in Michigan.Required Skills & Experience:OR experience.Cardiac Scrub experience.Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans within the unit/department to which staff is assigned.Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.Interview:Phone or Teams 15 minutes.Schedule Notes:Duration: 13 weeks.Must be available 1 weekend per month.6:00am - 2:30pm, 6:00am - 4:30pm, or 6:00am - 6:30pm.There is an option for five 8's, four 10's, or three 12's with a 6:00am start time.48 hours of call in a 6-week schedule period required.
