Aerospace Quality Technician

Now Hiring Aerospace Quality Technicians in Mason, OH! Shift: 2nd, 3:30pm-12:00am, Monday-Friday (Possible training on 1st shift, 7:00am-3:30pm, Monday-Friday for up to 60 days) Rate: $25.00-$35.00 (+%15 shift differential) Essential Functions: Analyze and interpret Op sheets, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and travelers to produce products that meet or exceed customer specifications Verifies conformance of finished workpiece to customer specifications, using precision measuring tools and equipment as necessary such as borescopes, rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers Maintain, Test, and Replenish dipping solutions Clean parts using chemical degreaser and parts wash machine Prep parts using specialized material Inspect parts using ultraviolet light Load / unload parts, inspect parts using various precision measuring tools and systems (CMM) Report proper labor hours in the ERP system Maintain a safe and clean work environment by performing daily housekeeping duties Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading technical publications Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishment Effective communication and people skills to maintain a working relationship with Quality and Engineering Dependability, integrity, cooperation and taking the initiative for responsibilities and challenges are critical Ability to operate autonomously and self-direct Good and reliable attendance and a collaborative mindset are necessary Any other duties needed to help drive our vision, fulfill our mission, and abide by our organization’s values Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required Coordinate Measuring Machine [ CMM ] experience preferred Airflow quality testing experience preferred Fluorescent Penetrant Inspection quality testing experience preferred Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment, aerospace industry preferred Troubleshooting / critical thinking skills **DIRECT OPPORTUNITY** #IND2 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Professional development assistance Retirement plan Vision insurance Education: High school or equivalent (Preferred) Experience: Aerospace quality : 5 years (Preferred) CMM operating: 3 years (Preferred) Airflow quality testing: 3 years (Preferred) Work Location: In person
