The position will take ownership of Accounts Payable and related reconciliations while actively supporting the monthly/quarterly close, financial reporting, and audit/regulatory processes. All essential duties and responsibilities must be performed in accordance with established Bank policies and procedures, compliance rules and regulations, and Bank’s privacy policy. These duties and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Own end-to-end Accounts Payable lifecycle, including vendor onboarding, invoice processing, payment execution, and reconciliations Manage the vendor management process including maintaining an up-to-date vendor database with all vendors, contracts, and key contactsMaintain Prepaid and Fixed Asset modulesAssist in the annual review and update of Finance policies and proceduresPrepare and coordinate monthly Board reporting packages, including presentation materials and supporting analysisPrepare and deliver required monthly submissions to the Federal Reserve and the FHLB, ensuring accuracy and timelinessProduce quarterly investor reporting packages with supporting schedules and analysis Perform daily trial balance review ensuring discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, including preparation of schedules and supporting documentation Prepare and post journal entries and assist with general ledger maintenance Maintain well-organized finance documentation and filing systems to support audit readiness and operational efficiencyContribute to financial statement preparation and internal reporting packages Ensure all financial reporting is in accordance with US GAAP.Implement newly pronounced accounting guidance as published by the FASB as required. QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 1–3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or banking environment Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls Hands-on experience with Accounts Payable and general accounting functions is a plus Proficient in Excel and financial analysis tools Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Good written and verbal communication skills Eagerness to learn and take ownership of assigned responsibilities Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Disclaimer / Policy StatementsModern Bank, NA is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
