The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive fundraising plan that aligns with the organization's mission and supports its growth and innovation. This role involves leading a high-performing fundraising operation, managing a diverse portfolio of prospects, and overseeing the Foundation's programs to ensure a sustainable pipeline of support. The Chief Philanthropy Officer will also be tasked with leading a major, comprehensive campaign and will be expected to bring best practices in healthcare philanthropy to the Foundation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.Candidates for this position should be transformational leaders with a minimum of 20 years of fundraising experience, preferably within a complex non-profit or health system. A strong background in strategic planning, capital campaigns, and managing all aspects of fundraising is essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working with Boards, senior management teams, and community leaders to achieve philanthropic goals. Experience in the healthcare sector is strongly preferred, and the candidate should be adept at building and managing a high-functioning team, fostering a culture of trust, innovation, and collaboration. A Bachelor's degree in a related field is required, with a Master's degree and professional fundraising certification being strongly preferred.Hiring Manager Title
