Description:Analyzes user’s requirements, concept of operations documents, and high-level system architectures to develop system requirements specificationsAnalyzes system requirements and leads design and development activitiesGuides users in formulating requirements, advises alternative approaches, and conducts feasibility studiesProvides technical leadership for the integration of requirements, design, and technology. Incorporates new plans, designs and systems into ongoing operationsDevelops technical documentationDevelops system Architecture and system design documentationGuides system development and implementation planning through assessment or preparation of system engineering management plans and system integration and test plansInteracts with the Government regarding Systems Engineering technical considerations and for associated problems, issues or conflictsUltimate responsibility for the technical integrity of work performed and deliverables associated with the Systems Engineering area of responsibilityCommunicates with other program personnel, government overseers, and senior executivesResponsibilities:Enterprise Architecture Design:Author, review, and maintain repeatable, comprehensive System Architecture and system design documentation for IT environmentsRequirements Engineering: Analyze user requirements, CONOPS, and high-level architectures/visions to derive formal, testable system requirementsHybrid Environment Engineering:Architect and optimize complex infrastructures operating both on-premises (bare-metal/virtualized) and off-premisesFeasibility & Trade Studies:Guide users in formulating requirements, advise on alternative technical approaches, and conduct rigorous technical feasibility studiesIntegration Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for the seamless integration of requirements, system design, and emerging technologiesVerification & Validation Oversight:Guide system development and implementation planning by authoring and executing system integration and test plansGovernment & Executive Liaison:Interface directly with senior executives regarding complex Engineering considerations, technical roadblocks, or architectural conflictsCross-Functional Communication:Collaborate closely with Program Managers, Project Managers, and technical teams to align architectural vision with execution schedulesHigh-Level Documentation: Facilitate technical alignment by authoring, updating, and defending technical documentation in technical exchange meetings (TEMs)Required Active and current TS.SCI w FSP14 YOEHands-on experience in Systems Engineering and IT ArchitectureProven track record of designing and managing technical architectures for both on-premises enterprise data centers and cloud environmentsDemonstrated expert-level experience engineering complex Network infrastructure and End-User computing solutions at scaleMastery in authoring formal Systems Engineering artifacts, including CONOPS, SRS, SDDs, SEMPs, and Test PlansExceptional verbal and written communication skills with explicit experience briefing senior executives on complex problems and architectural trade-offsDesired:INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) or Expert Systems Engineering Professional (ESEP)AWS/Azure Certified Solutions Architect ProfessionalCisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE), CCNP, or CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)Education:Bachelor’s degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is requiredFive (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degreeSalary range:  $185,377.00      $197,975.00
