Duties:Responsible for analyzing business requirements to get a good understanding of the integration stack,business flow, security protocols, and data formats needed to design an efficient and complete APIspecification using RAML, OAS and WSDL; gather feedback from the published APIs and modify theattributes or specification accordingly to fit the integration needs; design the integration interfaces toefficiently pass information from one enterprise application or server to an another; build modularsoftware components for various data process flows to implement System, Process and Experience APIsbased on the requirements using JAVA, JSON, CSV, XML, XSLT, GIT, SOAP UI, Rest Services, IBMIIB, DB2, IBM MFT, IBM MQ, Salesforce, Jira, IBM Integration Bus, Kafka, SVN, Postman, Jenkins,SQL and Confluence; test developed integration interfaces to ensure they meet quality standards andrequirement specifications; support the deployment of interfaces; perform interface testing in multipleenvironments using API, Runtime, Manager, Anypoint studio, MuleSoft, and Dataweave; deploy APIsin the Anypoint Platform and Mulesoft using Maven; build CI/CD pipelines and deployable artifacts toRuntime manager; build charts to display key metrics of API usage, transactions, rate-limiting and planbased throttling and policies; configure and coordinate security, error logging and auditing activities;provide technical documentation of framework assets, standards, best practices, accelerator toolkit,methodology and naming conventions for efficient API implementations; coordinate and documentsoftware system and application requirements to ensure functional and technical specification are met;design, develop and test frameworks; perform analysis of the Business Integration requirements,including understanding the various business processes of the integration interfaces to be built; designvarious data process flows to implement the integration interfaces, based on the requirements gathered inthe requirements stage; design of the message structures to hold the various pieces of information;implement/develop software components based on the above design details, to be carried out in asoftware environment; implement algorithms, databases, integration components and server-sidecomponents as required; make changes to the design and integration components to accommodate therequirement; perform deployment of the interfaces, testing them in the staging environment; and preparethe design and technical documents for user documentation.Location: Providence, Rhode Island and various other undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.Salary: $151,195 per year.Minimum Qualifications:Education: Bachelors – Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, ElectricalEngineering, Information Technology, Electronic Engineering, or in a related field of study (willaccept equivalent foreign degree);Training: None ;Experience: Five (5) years in the position above, as a Software Developer, as a Software Engineer, as aSenior Associate Consultant, as an Application Development Team Lead, as a Sr. Developer, as aTechnical Lead, as a Software Engineering Analyst, as a Programmer Analyst, or in a relatedoccupation;Other Requirements: Experience must include two (2) years use of all the following: MuleSoft, IBMIntegration Bus, IBM MQ, IBM MFT, SVN, Anypoint studio, Anypoint Platform, Dataweave andPostman.Will also accept any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience.-----This job description is not designed to contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties, or responsibilities that are required.
