Outpatient UR Specialist

Outpatient UR Specialist is responsible for maintaining and coordinating all utilization review activities with the facility. Needs to substantiate Level of Care decisions to insurance providers, administrators, and to the patient. Outpatient UR Specialist is responsible for Quality Assurance of documents within the patient's chart.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONEducation, Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesFamiliar with DSM 5 and Utilization Review Criteria; effective verbal and written communication skills; basic computer skills and organizational skills.
