New Construction & Retrofit Project Management LOCATION: Washington State (Multi-Site Travel Required)SALARY: $140,000–$160,000 annuallyEMPLOYMENT TYPE: Permanent Direct Hire ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── ABOUT THE ROLE Locke Staffing Group is seeking an experienced Travelling Superintendent to oversee construction operations and subcontractor coordination on new construction and retrofit projects throughout Washington State. You will manage daily site operations, coordinate multiple trades including HVAC, and ensure projects stay on schedule and to specification. In this role, you will: • Manage construction site operations and coordinate mechanical systems (HVAC) installation and inspection on new construction and retrofit projects• Direct HVAC subcontractors and coordinate their work with general site operations, timelines, and quality standards• Ensure compliance with building codes, contract specifications, and safety protocols across all trades• Monitor daily progress, manage punch lists, and maintain detailed project documentation• Coordinate system startup, testing procedures, and client handover documentation• Travel between project locations to maintain consistent oversight and quality control• Serve as the primary jobsite contact between GC leadership, subcontractors, and clients ABOUT YOU You bring 3–5 years of construction superintendence experience with a strong track record working for general contractors on new construction and retrofit projects. You have direct experience managing HVAC subcontractors and mechanical systems delivery. You are: ✓ Proven experience as a Superintendent or Project Manager working for a GC✓ Strong background managing HVAC subcontractors and mechanical systems coordination✓ Knowledgeable in construction codes, contracts, and jobsite management✓ Experienced coordinating multiple subcontractors and managing timelines✓ Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and proactive in problem-solving✓ Willing to travel within Washington State (50–70% travel expected)✓ Professional communicator with strong client-facing and team leadership skills✓ Valid driver's license required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • General Contractor background (required or highly preferred)• Superintendence certification or equivalent field experience• Experience with mechanical systems coordination and HVAC subcontractor management• Project management software and digital documentation tools• Familiarity with design specifications and contract documentation• Safety certifications (OSHA 30, etc.)
