Job Description Civil Project Engineer – Land DevelopmentPhoenix, AZA well-established civil engineering firm is adding a Civil Project Engineer to support land development work across the Phoenix metro area. This position offers hands-on technical responsibility and the opportunity to grow alongside experienced project managers while working on a diverse mix of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.You'll be involved in the design, coordination, and delivery of site development projects, contributing directly to high-quality engineering solutions and successful project outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare civil design plans including grading, drainage, utilities, and pavingDevelop technical reports, construction documents, and permitting submittalsCoordinate with project managers, municipalities, and external consultantsSupport construction-phase services and respond to technical inquiriesApply engineering judgment and problem-solving to support project deliveryQualificationsBachelor's degree in Civil EngineeringProfessional Engineer (PE) license preferred or actively pursuing licensure3–7+ years of civil design experience, ideally in land developmentProficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3DStrong attention to detail and effective communication skillsCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive base salary ranging from $85K–$130K, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package and clear growth opportunities.Why Consider This RoleThis is a strong opportunity for an engineer looking to deepen technical skills, gain greater project exposure, and grow within a respected land development practice.Apply with confidentiality.
