The manager will be responsible for overseeing numerous complex tasks within the department and should possess a working knowledge of vehicle sales and Remarketing processes, as well as, effective ways to balance and resolve complex issues. The manager has contact with various internal departments and external vendors. Achieving optimal business results and team objectives in this position directly affects the financial results produced by the company.ResponsibilitiesAbout the roleThe Product Marketing Manager III will lead and implement marketing strategies to drive awareness, engagement and affinity with B2C/B2B customers. This team member will help define market positioning, lead go-to-market strategies for a variety of initiatives that support business goals. As a key leader in Remarketing, you will help lead your team to define and develop a roadmap of features driven by research and analytics. You will identify customer needs, wants and expectations, to deliver personalized experiences that exceed customer expectations and meet business objectives. You're a collaborator who builds strong partnerships across the GM Enterprise to deliver consistent business value to GM, GM adjacencies, the brands, and GMF. You will work closely with key business stakeholders, developers, UX designers, marketers, analytics teams, auction partners, vendors and operations leaders. You will be the subject matter experts for some of GM Financial' s key digital channels and will be recognized as a fierce advocate for putting the customer at the center of everything we do.In This Role You Will  Create high profile marketing initiatives that align with the business needs and create an exceptional customer experienceWork with cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery of campaigns and initiativesIdentify and manage customer communications for every touchpoint along the journey, ensuring that communications align with marketing plans and our business goalsWork directly with the product managers and marketing team members to plan and implement goals, strategies, and campaigns around our products and other consumer touchpointsEstablish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and other influencers who contribute to the definition and ongoing support of B2C/B2B marketing strategies through stewardship, influence, motivation and change leadershipLead the high-level prioritization of marketing initiatives, aligning experiences across channels and touchpoints to ensure the best business resultsParticipate in the planning for the future direction of B2C/B2B channels and features by combining customer needs and insights with quantifiable business cases to establish program roadmaps and strategies that are built on consensus and buy-in from senior leadershipServe as a subject matter expert for go-to-market activitiesMeasure, assess and report on the effectiveness of campaigns and the various tactics and collateral assetsUnderstand and evangelize the vision, strategic priorities and goals of the organization, translating them into a roadmap of features and enhancements that provide remarkable customer experiencesFacilitate dealer website enhancements utilizing agile and waterfall methodologiesManage dealer website for issues to report, manage, and resolve in collaboration with GMF leadership and vendorsQualificationsWhat makes you an ideal candidate?Experience in lifecycle marketing, account management, product marketing, product management, road mapping, and agile methodologiesExperience working within a matrix organization and collaborating with business stakeholders, user experience teams, project managers, developers, etc.A proven track record of project execution, completing campaigns or projects on time and on budgetExcellent prioritization, time management, organization, and follow-up skills; with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyEffective product backlog development and groomingSelf-driven leader who can take initiative and carry projects from start to finishAbility to dive into performance measurements with teams to help optimize and find key insights into performanceAbility to synthesize analytic results into relevant and strategic recommendationsStrong analytical skills, with the ability to assemble and interpret data, create executive summaries and deliver business insightsAbility to understand and explain complex issues and clearly identify and communicate the situation at a high levelExceptional interpersonal, communication (verbal and written), cross-collaboration and team skillsAbility to create and manage a roadmap of campaign and product features and enhancementsWork Experience & EducationBachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience required4+ years as a product marketer or similar role requiredWhat We Offer: Generous benefits package available on day one to include: 401K matching, bonding leave for new parents (12 weeks, 100% paid), tuition assistance, training, GM employee auto discount, community service pay and nine company holidays.Our Culture: Our team members define and shape our culture — an environment that welcomes innovative ideas, fosters integrity, and creates a sense of community and belonging.
