Cardiology - Interventional Physician

Location: Joplin, MOStart Date: October 27, 2025Duration: 26 weeksSchedule: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM Position Overview: I am seeking a Board Eligible Interventional Cardiologist to provide inpatient and outpatient coverage on a locum basis. This role includes procedural work, clinic visits, and call coverage, with flexibility for weekend rotations. Responsibilities: Provide inpatient and outpatient cardiology servicesPerform procedures including:Left and right heart catheterizations (LHC/RHC)Percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)Transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)Participate in general and STEMI call coverageRespond to night calls (1 2 nights during 2-week rotation)Collaborate with a team of 5 physicians and clinic support staff Requirements: MD or DOActive Missouri license or IMLCBoard EligibleCertifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLSMinimum 1 year of experience Patient Volume: Clinic: patients/dayProcedures: 5 7 per day Compensation: Open bill rate please submit competitive bidsWeekend coverage: 4 5 days over a weekend period, 2 weeks/month Additional Information: EMR System: EpicOn-call Response Time: 30 minutesPrivileging: Emergency temps available; full credentialing takes 90 daysCOVID-19 Vaccination: Required (exemptions may be considered)
