The locum Trauma Surgery opportunity in New Mexico Duration: March 2026 and ongoing until perm is hired.Schedule: Monday-Sunday, 7a-7a, 6-8 24 hr shifts per month ongoing until perm is hired.Call: 24 hour call shiftsPatient volume:10 patients per day, 3-4 consults per day, 1-4 cases (APC support for consults/rounding)Scope: Well-rounded general / trauma surgeon doing most bread and butter gen trauma (we have separate ortho trauma team FYI)EMR: EPICGroup Support: APC on service each day to support with rounding on patients. Hospital: Level III trauma center, 200 bedsRequirements (boards, license): MD must be BC/BE, NM license is a plus but not required.
