Transfer Driver - Part Time

The purpose of the Transfer Driver is to pick up and deliver tractors and trailers to, from, and around the dealership.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:• Safety transport dealership inventory and customer owned equipment as direct• Take direction from various individuals• Represent the dealership in an effective and positive manner both with customers and suppliers• Follow dealership safety and operational policy• Correctly account and invoice time to cover a minimum of110% time on the job• Proactively determine what vehicles need to be prepared for the driver shuttle team• Work with shuttle team when problems develop with vehicles being transported• Check in and inspect Freightliner Corp trades and inventory for pick up• Alert manager when lot process is not being followed and proactively correctEducation, Skills and Knowledge Required:• Valid driver's license, Class A CDL, preferred• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel• Attentional to detail• Ability to work efficientlyTruck Country / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star Offers:• Competitive Salary• Comprehensive Benefit Package• 401K Plan with Company Match• Mileage ReimbursementTruck Country / Stoops Freightliner-Western Star is one of the largest Freightliner Western Star dealership groups in the U.S. today, serving customers at locations in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
