Senior Estimator

Senior EstimatorLHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Senior Estimator with at least 5 years of experience working in a similar role. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity within the Commercial Construction industry, located in Baltic, CT. Responsibilities:Produce detailed quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, and project budgets for a wide range of commercial developments, including office, retail, healthcare, education, industrial, and multifamily projectsReview and interpret drawings, specifications, and supporting documents to develop accurate and well-supported estimatesManage the estimating effort for multiple projects at once, ensuring precision, consistency, and on-time completionRequest, analyze, and level subcontractor and supplier pricing; prepare scope documentation and confirm full trade coveragePartner with architects, engineers, and owners during preconstruction to deliver cost guidance, value engineering solutions, and constructability inputBuild, maintain, and refine unit pricing libraries and historical cost data to support future estimatesSupport the development of proposals, bid submissions, and presentation materials for both competitive bids and negotiated workReview estimates prepared by junior team members, providing feedback, quality control, and ongoing mentorshipParticipate in turnover meetings to ensure a smooth transition from preconstruction through project executionStay current on industry trends, construction methods, materials, and market conditions that influence pricingExperience:Minimum 5-10 years of estimating experience, preferably in construction Work Site: Onsite Employment Type: Temp to PermSalary: $35-44/hr Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.lhh.com/us/en/candidate-privacy
