Lead Mechanic (North Texas Area) - Austin Bridge & Road

Our technician is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing various types of concrete paving equipment.Responsibilities:Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothlyIdentify mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues by using diagnostic equipment or by performing hands-on testsRepairing or replacing broken parts, such as engines, transmissions, hydraulic systems, and electrical components.Maintain detailed service records for each piece of equipment for warranty, compliance, and tracking purposes.Follow all safety policies and proceduresOther duties as assignedQualifications:3+ years of service and repair experience with asphalt paving equipmentPrefer experience with Gomaco, Miller Formless, Wirtgen, Guntert & Zimmerman, and other various brands of concrete paving equipmentMaintenance and Preventive Maintenance skillsMaintenance & Repair and Troubleshooting abilitiesMechanical aptitude with required knowledge of:Diesel enginesTransmissionsElectrical systemsHydraulic systemsAbility to work with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipmentMust have a strong commitment to jobsite safetyDiligent in demonstrating safe work practicesRequirements:High school diploma, GED, or vocational training/certificationValid driver's licenseRequires working outdoors at times in the rain or snow and during cold, warm, and hot temperaturesMust be able to work hours adjusted to meet the project's needs; days, nights and weekendsApplicants must be legally authorized to work for ANY employer in the United States.
