This role ensures food service areas meet health and safety standards while providing courteous and efficient service to employees.Essential FunctionsMaintain cleanliness and sanitation of the breakroom, food serving areas, and all dining areas.Clean tables, counters, microwave, refrigerator, sink, and other appliances.Empties trash and monitors trashcans to prevent overfillsRemove dirty dishes, and utensils and take them to the kitchen for washing.Always maintains floor clean and dry.Restock food, beverages, coffee station, utensils, napkins, condiments, etc.Monitors inventory levels and notify management of supply needs.Ensure proper food storage and rotation (FIFO method).Follow all health, safety, and food-handling regulations.Report on maintenance or equipment issues promptly.Provide friendly assistance to employees as needed.Coordinates with coworker/s to ensure proper execution of all breakroom duties.Attend staff meetings as needed.Ensures proper storage and stock of eating and serving utensils, snacks, condiments, napkins, and other supplies.Inspects dishes, silverware, drink cups for cleanliness and sanitation.Sets employee breakroom up for daily service.
