The Speech-Language Pathologist is responsible for the implementation of speech/language pathology services in a clinical setting. Minimum Requirements:Meets the education and experience requirements for a Certificate of Clinical Competence in speech-language pathologyMust hold a degree from an accredited school of Speech-Language PathologyCurrent licensure or certification as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of assignment2 years of prior professional Speech Language Pathology experience preferredCurrent CPR if applicableTB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of agePosition DetailsModalitySpeech Language PathologistShifts:ScheduleMonday-Thursday: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PMFriday: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM (half day)Some flexibility depending on staff needs. (stated she could support 4 - 10 hour shifts if need be)Shift Days:WeekdaysHours per Week:36-40Contract Length:26 Week(s)Start Date:4/10/2026Details ofAssignment:Position Details: Very quiet compared to school setting. 1st patient will be at 9am. Will conduct evaluations for 30 minutes after each patient. Will see patients from 9am-12pm. 30 min dock break and last patient will be around 5pm. 1:1 individual treatment - SLP case load = 45. They offer half days on Fridays as well.Pediatric SLP This is a true outpatient medical and pediatric therapy position . The SLP will evaluate and treat patients across the lifespan and develop individualized, functional treatment plans. Pediatric populations may include: • Articulation and phonological disorders • Language disorders • Autism spectrum disorders • Early intervention • Fluency • Feeding Primary Responsibilities • Perform speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, and swallowing evaluations • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans • Provide patient and caregiver education • Maintain organized and timely documentation • Communicate with physicians and interdisciplinary providers • Participate in collaborative clinical discussions and care planning Qualifications • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology • Current ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or eligibility • Washington State SLP License (required) • Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred (medical or pediatric outpatient strongly preferred) • Strong clinical reasoning and time-management skills • Ability to work independently within a supportive team environment.Submission Details & RequirementsMinimum Experience and Certification Required:A required Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and current ASHA certificationMinimum 2 years clinical experience preferred (medical or pediatric outpatient stronglypreferred)Facility Info / Selling Points:Join an established, clinician-led private practice providing medical and pediatric speech-language outpatient services in beautiful Gig Harbor and Silverdale, Washington.For over 19 years, Harbor Speech Pathology has partnered with physicians and communityProviders to deliver comprehensive outpatient care.
