We are seeking a professional, responsible, and outgoing person to work in our BDC (Business Development Center). As a BDC Rep, you'll be responsible for generating leads for the dealership sales staff, and maintaining quality relationships with our current customer base. Overall, you'll be instrumental in helping us increase overall dealership sales. This is a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with us!ResponsibilitiesHandle leads and appointment settingConduct internal CSI calls and emailsWork directly with managers on deals that involve internet customersSet appointments for prospective and current customers to meet with a member of the sales teamManage high volume of customer inquiries through phone, email, text/chat per salesUpdate client information in our CRM Report dailyFollow-up with existing customersFollow-up with prospective customersFollow-up with missed/canceled customer appointmentsEnsure Customer SatisfactionProduct knowledge/function is key with all the different vehicles on a daily basisMaintaining daily contact target/appointment targetMust be able to contribute to positive team environmentQualificationsSuccessful Customer Care Representatives MUST have excellent telephone skillsSelf- Motivated and EnergeticYou as the Representative must have the ability to instantly build rapport with the customerA friendly/professional demeanor with excellent written and oral communication skillsYou MUST enjoy the phone and have the willingness to help customers overcome objections in order to set the appointmentStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and meet daily goalsFollow up with customers effectivelyCold calling/Call center skillsJob RequirementsExcellent computer skills required.Knowledgeable to call center environment.Automotive experience helpful but not required.Able to communicate persuasively with customers to set appointments.Willingness to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations18+ years of age or older to comply with the company driving policySchedule:8 hour shiftMonday to FridayExperience:Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)Business Development Center (BDC): 1 year (Preferred)Job Type: Full-timePay: From $16.00 to $18.00 per hour based on experience, plus Bonus based on performance.Expected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceEmployee discountHealth insuranceProfessional development assistanceReferral programAbility to commute/relocate:Alton, IL 62002: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)Work Location: In person
