The actual posting represents a position at one of our clients.Job SummaryOur client is seeking a skilled Inpatient Coder responsible for coding via work queues using EPIC and 360 (EM coder). The position involves analyzing complex hospital medical records and assigning accurate ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and meeting productivity and accuracy standards.Key ResponsibilitiesCoding via work queues using EPIC and 360.Analyze complex hospital medical records to assign accurate ICD-10 diagnosis and procedure codes.Ensure regulatory compliance.Meet productivity and accuracy standards.QualificationsCertifications: CCS, RHIT, HEMA, or AAPC/APC credentials.3+ years of experience in a large organization (Level II trauma center experience preferred).Preference for candidates with stable employment history at previous places of work.Experience3+ years of experience in a large organization, preferably in a Level II trauma center.SkillsProficient in using EPIC and 360 for coding.Strong analytical skills for reviewing medical records and assigning codes.Good compliance and regulatory knowledge.Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy standards.BenefitsPaid Sick Leave (Medix provides paid sick leave according to state and local sick leave ordinances).Health Benefits / Dental / Vision (Medix offers 6 different health plans: 3 Major Medical Plans, 2 Fixed Indemnity Plans (Standard and Preferred), and 1 Minimum Essential Coverage (MEC) Plan.
