Our team delivers high-quality installations with a strong focus on safety, professionalism, and technical excellence.Position Summary:This is a travel-heavy field position for an experienced technician who enjoys working on the road and being part of a highly skilled deployment team.The Traveling Field Turnstile Installation Technician is responsible for installing, wiring, testing, and commissioning turnstile systems and access control hardware across the Northeast United States. Projects may range from several days to multiple weeks depending on scope.Paid training is provided to ensure technicians are fully prepared to work with our systems, tools, and installation standards.Key Responsibilities:Travel to job sites throughout the Northeast U.S.Install turnstiles, speed gates, ADA gates, Revolving Doors and related security hardwarePerform electrical and low-voltage work including:Power feedsReader and controller terminationsNetwork and communication cablingRead and interpret electrical drawings, shop drawings, and installation detailsInstall and assist with configuration of access control components (readers, controllers, keypads)Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and punch-list completionCoordinate with project managers, general contractors, and other tradesMaintain daily field reports, timesheets, and material trackingFollow all safety procedures and SES installation standardsRequired Qualifications:3+ years of experience in electrical, low-voltage, or access control installationWillingness to work in a travel-based field roleAbility to read electrical drawings and technical documentationStrong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitudeValid driver's license and reliable transportationFlexibility for occasional nights or weekends based on project needsPreferred Qualifications:Turnstile or physical security system installation experienceExperience with access control platforms (Software House, Lenel, Honeywell, etc.)Basic networking knowledge (IP devices, PoE, switches)OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certificationCompensation & Travel Benefits:$40 – $50 per hour (DOE)Overtime paid at time-and-a-halfHigher compensation available for strong electrical and access-control experienceTravel Benefits Include:Company-paid travel (airfare, hotel, rental car when applicable)Daily per diem for mealsMileage reimbursement when using personal vehicleTools and PPE providedPaid Training ProvidedStructured onboarding and field trainingHands-on instruction with turnstile systems and access control hardwareOpportunity to grow into Lead Installer or Field Supervisor rolesBenefitsPaid time off and holidaysTo be added in 2027: Health Insurance and 401k matchAdvancement opportunities within a growing company
