This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the development of Honeywell Anthem, Honeywell's next-generation integrated flight deck that is transforming the future of aviation.As a senior technical leader, you will play a pivotal role in designing, integrating, and verifying advanced avionics display applications that power the next generation of connected aircraft across commercial, business, general aviation, and advanced air mobility platforms.Key ResponsibilitiesLead systems engineering activities for next-generation avionics display applications.Develop, validate, integrate, and verify system and software requirements.Design complex avionics solutions using model-based systems engineering methodologies.Develop graphical interfaces using ARINC 661 standards and SCADE.Create comprehensive software test cases based on system and software requirements.Support system integration, verification, and certification activities.Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle.Contribute to system architecture, technical reviews, and design improvements.Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, regulatory requirements, and certification guidelines.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.Minimum 10 years of systems engineering experience.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proven experience in complex aerospace or avionics systems development.Preferred QualificationsAdvanced degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.Experience with Simulink or other model-based design tools.Hands-on experience with ARINC 661 graphics development using SCADE.Familiarity with IMA I/O and scheduling tools such as ESCAPE, PCT, and HARMONIC.Understanding of Next-Generation Avionics (NGA) system architecture.Experience in large-scale systems integration programs.Knowledge of aerospace certification processes and documentation.Strong understanding of industry regulations and engineering best practices.Passion for innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.Key SkillsSystems EngineeringAvionicsModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)SimulinkARINC 661SCADESystem IntegrationVerification & ValidationAerospace CertificationFlight Deck SystemsBenefitsCompetitive compensation packageMedical, dental, and vision insuranceLife insuranceShort-term and long-term disability401(k) with company matchFlexible Spending Accounts (FSA)Health Savings Accounts (HSA)Eligibility RequirementsMust qualify as a U.S. Person under U.S. export control laws.Must be authorized to work in the United States.Equal Opportunity EmployerWe are committed to building an inclusive workplace where innovation thrives through diversity.
