Data Engineer - Burlington Store

Data EngineerA services organization in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Data Engineer to their team. Responsibilities include developing and supporting new and existing data applications, partnering with business users and analysts to understand data needs and recommend effective long-term solutions, working with application and enterprise architects to review implementation designs and data flows, providing technical guidance for complex data solutions, supporting production issues, maintaining integration documentation, and contributing to broader data engineering initiatives.Qualifications include 5-7 years of experience in Data Warehousing, Data Integration, or Data Engineering projects, strong data engineering fundamentals with ETL experience, advanced data modeling experience with emphasis on dimensional modeling, proficiency in SQL, hands-on experience with Azure Databricks and the Azure ecosystem, experience using Python or Scala, strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams, proven ability to own work independently. Desired skills include experience with Power BI, Azure ML, or Synapse, familiarity with Informatica PowerCenter, IICS, Cognos, or Netezza Performance Server, experience with Azure DevOps or GitHub, background in Property and Casualty Insurance, and a Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering field experience leading workstreams or delivering end-to-end project implementations.
