Painter / Maintenance Tech

Job DetailsDescriptionThe Painter is responsible for performing interior and exterior painting and related maintenance tasks across all buildings on campus. This role ensures that resident apartments, common areas, clinical spaces, and exterior structures are maintained to high standards of safety, cleanliness, and appearance.This position requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to work respectfully in occupied resident areas.Essential ResponsibilitiesPerform interior and exterior painting of apartments, resident rooms, hallways, offices, and common areasPrepare surfaces including sanding, patching, caulking, priming, and drywall repairMatch paint colors and textures as neededPerform minor drywall repairs and finishingMaintain clean and organized work areasFollow safety procedures and OSHA guidelinesWork collaboratively with Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Nursing teamsComplete work orders in a timely mannerAssist with apartment turns and renovation projectsSupport emergency response efforts when neededPerform other duties as assignedQualifications2+ years of professional painting experience (commercial or residential)Experience with drywall repair and finishing preferredKnowledge of painting tools, materials, and safety standardsAbility to work independently and manage time effectivelyStrong attention to detailAbility to work in occupied healthcare and residential environmentsAbility to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periodsSome projects may be outdoorsValid driver’s license and auto insurance liability requirements for driving between campuses (mileage available when requirements are met)Preferred ExperienceExperience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or multi-building campus environmentsExperience working in occupied resident spacesBasic maintenance skills are a plusWhy Join Our Community?Stable, year-round workSupportive team environmentOpportunity to serve and interact with residentsCompetitive pay based on experienceBenefits package for full-time employeesWe are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to creating a workplace that reflects the dignity and respect we provide to our residents every day.
