Company DescriptionThe Cedar Falls Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CF CAPS) is a program under Cedar Falls Schools that partners with local Cedar Valley businesses to provide high school students with hands-on, real-world professional experiences. Students earn both high school and college credit while working on projects in a professional environment with the guidance of teachers and business mentors. These immersive experiences help students develop valuable skills such as problem solving, communication, and professionalism. The program focuses on preparing juniors and seniors for future careers by replacing traditional homework and tests with project-based learning. For more information, email CFCAPS@cfschools.org.Role DescriptionThis is a contract hybrid role for a CF CAPS MED/CNA Instructor and Anatomy and Physiology Teacher, based in Cedar Falls, IA, with some flexibility for remote work. The instructor will facilitate learning experiences for high school juniors and seniors in collaboration with business partners, guiding students through project-based learning in medical and health-related fields.
