Packaging Technician
Role Overview
As a member of the Packaging Department, you will collaborate with your team in a high-speed environment to execute production tasks. Your work will strictly follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure consistency and quality under the guidance of your supervisor.
Core Duties
Manage production machinery, including handling startups, performing light adjustments, and overseeing quality checks.
Ensure all production records are maintained with complete accuracy to support operational integrity.
Maintain a hygienic workspace by performing regular cleaning and sanitization tasks as outlined in company protocols.
Required Qualifications
Completion of high school or an equivalent educational credential.
Demonstrated proficiency in mechanical, scientific, and analytical problem-solving.
Strong verbal and written communication abilities, computer literacy, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and precise work environment.
Capability to lift up to 25 pounds periodically to support physical workflow requirements.
Practical experience with aseptic handling techniques.
Familiarity with SPP and SOP guidelines, as well as USDA regulatory standards.
Additional Details
Packaging position located in DeSoto on the 1st shift.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 05:30 AM to 2:00 PM CST.
