CNC Machine Operator/Programmer

As a CNC Machine Operator, you will: Set-Up, manage and operate CNC Machines to perform different jobs including: milling, drilling, and tapping tasks. Attend to machines while they execute tasks and programs and make any necessary adjustments to produce a better result Ensure the results of machining process aligns with customer expectations Operate a Hilo and overhead crane in accordance with our safety policies Provide continuous communication with team members to ensure efficient work flow Provide help and support to a passionate team Who you will work with: Tool and Die Makers, Machinists, Maintenance Team, Leadership Team Who you will report to: Machining Manager Your environment: Collaborative and fast-paced tool and die shop in Grand Rapids, Michigan Competencies: High school diploma or equivalent Previous CNC machining experience a plus Programming and controls experience a plus, not required Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and desire to learn and grow Ability to work with minimal supervision and produce expected results Punctual and reliable Tool and die maker (day and night shift opportunities)- What you will be doing: Die construction and tryout Follow ISO Requirements Train apprentices Assist design team with engineering changes Operate a Hilo and overhead crane in accordance with our safety policies Provide continuous communication with team members to ensure efficient work flow Provide help and support to a passionate team Your environment: Collaborative and fast-paced tool and die shop with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time tooling If interested please call us at 714-595-8781 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Overnight shift Weekend availability Work Location: In person
