Our work environment includes: Food provided On-the-job training **We are offering a $1000 sign-on bonus to all OT hires after 180 days of employment **We are offering a referral bonus for those that refer new hires into the company. The referral bonus will be issued based on the number of clients seen per week, as indicated below: $2000 for full-time employees seeing at least 25 clients per week $1750 for therapists seeing 20-24 clients per week $1500 for therapists seeing 15-20 clients per week $1000 for therapists seeing 10-15 clients per week The new hires must be employed with Empowered for Life for at least 6 months to qualify for the referral bonus. Who We Are Empowered for Life is a rapidly growing private practice providing clinic/center-based and in-home speech language and occupational therapy services. We are dedicated in treating our employees with respect and compassion while providing services of the highest quality to our families. Responsibilities * Provide clinic/center-based occupational therapy services in our Walnut, CA and/or San Dimas, CA location. * If you would like to provide "in-home" services, our clients reside in the San Gabriel Valley area, in cities such as El Monte, Azusa, Pomona, Covina, Rowland Heights, Hacienda Heights, La Puente, Walnut, Baldwin Park, to name a few. * Develop therapy and treatment plans for various disorders * Implement standardized tests for accurate diagnosis of occupational therapy disorders * Establish treatment goals and milestones with patients * Document and store treatment plans and progress reports * Update patient progress to relevant parties * Research related problems associated with occupational therapy Qualifications * OTR/L * Some experience is preferred but excellent training will be provided for the right candidate * Familiarity with communication disorders * Ability to build rapport with patients, parents and caregivers * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Positive patient demeanor * Excellent work ethic and a desire to grow Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: From $80,000.00 per year Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Flexible schedule Health insurance Health savings account Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance Schedule: Day shift Application Question(s): What days and times during the week will you be available to see clients?
