REGULATORY AFFAIRS ADMIN ASST
The Regulatory Affairs Administrative Assistant provides comprehensive administrative and operational support to the Regulatory Affairs Department to ensure compliance with New York State OPWDD regulations, agency policies, accreditation standards, and quality assurance requirements. Salary ranges $45,240-$48,000 based on experience.QualificationsHigh school diploma required; Associate degree preferred.1-2 years of administrative experience/working in the office setting, including knowledge of office practices & procedures preferred.Working knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, & Outlook a must.Demonstration of aptitude to learn various software applications used internally & with external entities.Excellent verbal & written communication skills, excellent organizational & time management skills, as well as excellent customer service skills.Ability to work well with different departments & with various levels of staff.Valid driver’s license required.Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited ToSupport the Regulatory Affairs department in the management of records, including but not limited to incident documentation, auditing, meeting minutes, etc.Maintain electronic and paper files in an organized and efficient manner.Scanning, filing, and distributing documents; creating/maintaining departmental filing systems.Assist with organization of incidents/investigations and audit files, ensuring completeness.Complete data entry, tracking, trending, and graph data collection from various internal/external databases/reports.Assist with follow up on incident items needed from various departments to ensure incidents are completed/closed within the regulatory timeframe.Assist with creation of presentations for the Incident Review Committee meetings and any other documents as needed.Assist in collecting documents for investigations conducted by OPWDD and the Justice Center as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.
