Dairy Pasteurizer / Process Operator

Production Worker - Pasteurizer - 4084 *IMPORTANT:* We are specifically looking for candidates with previous dairy processing, pasteurization, or food process equipment experience. This is NOT a general warehouse or entry-level production position. Candidates should have experience operating Pasteurization, Pasteurizer, HTST, dairy processing, milk processing, yogurt processing, batching, blending, homogenization, cream processing, milk separation, process operator, along with previous forklift and pallet jack experience. *Overview:* * We are seeking an experienced Production Worker III – Pasteurizer to support dairy production operations at a milk processing facility in Bellevue, WA. * This position is responsible for monitoring and operating dairy processing equipment, following recipes and Standard Operating Procedures, maintaining food safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring efficient production. * The ideal candidate will have previous experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment, along with experience using pallet jacks and forklifts. *Duties:* * Monitor dairy production processes and follow SOPs for batching and processing products. * Operate and monitor pasteurization and dairy processing equipment. * Monitor fats, total solids, allergens, and other processing requirements. * Analyze process and equipment performance data to troubleshoot issues and improve quality and throughput. * Communicate production issues, concerns, and equipment problems to management and other departments. * Accurately document required production and processing information. * Perform equipment sanitation, including CIP (Clean-in-Place) and hand cleaning. * Operate and clean equipment efficiently to maximize throughput and minimize downtime. * Follow GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements. * Maintain food safety and food quality within the assigned production area. * Immediately report food safety and quality issues to management. * Maintain 5S standards and a clean, organized work area. * Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. * Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor. *Qualifications:* * High school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience operating pasteurization or dairy processing equipment. * Pasteurizer License preferred. * Experience with pallet jacks and forklifts required. * Ability to follow recipes, measurements, SOPs, and instructions accurately. * Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation practices. * Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. * Ability to work in a fast-paced dairy production environment. * Must be able to stand and walk for most of the workday. * Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs. * Must be flexible to work overtime as needed. * Must follow all safety protocols and maintain a safety-first mindset.
